2019 Dahlia Lineup

Announcements· Field Notes (Growing tips for the constant gardener)

Dahlia oh Dahlia!

I know I’m not the only one crazy about Dahlias. The blooms are absolutely stunning. Even better you can dig up your tubers in the fall and overwinter them for the following season vastly multiplying your stock. For this reason, dahlias are typically an investment up front and they sell out so fast! if you are interested in growing your own, we will have some dahlia starts of the varieties listed below for sale around Mother’s Day! Sign up for our weekly newsletter to stay up-to-date on when these will be available as we will have a very limited supply.

The moment you’ve been waiting for…

Cafe’ au Lait
Hamari Gold
Islander
Labyrinth
Penhill Watermelon
Spartacus

Waltzing Mathilda
Cornel

If you are interested in what each of these look like, head on over to our pinterest page where I’ve created a board of this year’s offerings

Orange. Like the color of the MS150 drive. Tomorro Orange. Like the color of the MS150 drive. Tomorrow I’m going to saddle up on ol’ red (my sister’s road bike) and do a little loop round Loveland and Fort Collins with a few members of #pattyspack for our own, mini, socially distant ride. I made this to honor Patty, who was such a sweet woman and raised one of my best buds, Hannah, who works super hard to honor her sweet mama and find a cure for MS. Tomorrow we ride but first we remember.
Jude the Obscure is blooming. Truth told this rose Jude the Obscure is blooming. Truth told this rose brought me back around to roses after being bitten by a few too many and being frustrated with their realatively short vase life. But ol’ Jude...It’s so unique, the color and shape changes as it ages. It smells incredible. Total winner. I plan to save (clear) a bit of room in front of my house to landscape and these pretties will have a home there.
